en-kûr' ij

Encourage (verb) - 1. To impart courage, To inspire with hope, courage, or confidence; hearten.

I have been both humbled and heartened by the outpouring of support this week towards me. Thank you for the comments, emails and personal conversation!

I wish I were stronger sometimes but I couldn't rally myself this time and I really got ill! I mean, I haven't eaten (I KNOW! I can't believe it either!), didn't visit the gym, just worked and went home to bed. Your kind words sunk in and I started to get better.

Had lunch with Lizbet's Dad yesterday where we talked things over constructively. It is interesting to observe that we can talk together now better than we did before...

Of course, I made an effort to talk to Lizbet every day this week as well too. She understands how I feel, I understand that she didn't intentionally mean any harm and well, we are just good.

And I am good.

Oh, Deannie. I had to go back and read other stuff to find out what was going on and I'm so sorry. You could use a lot of hugs.

Take care of you. I know you said you are "good", but keep on keepin' on. Good is good, but I know you can get better and heal.

I'm glad things are going better....also glad that you & Mark have been able to communicate. I wonder if you two will end up like Aunt Bea & Uncle Alex, who had to get divorced to become friends?

huh. wow. I sort of hope NOT!

Alas, the sun does rise in the east and life goes on.

Remember when kids use to "just say the darndest (sp?) things" and now as they grow older they just say "things". Not to harm, just becasue they have an opinion and they believe that what they say is the most important thing in the world (their world). they are the center of their universe and it is amazing how they cope with LIFE.

I am glad you are better - life always throws curves at us - I think they are some kind of test to see how we respond/react. I think GOD has a funny sense of humor - always testing me - what will this guy do with this twist type thing.

Be happy, think good thoughts and live well.

I got the Bad news today. The lady I was corting has backed out of Valentines dinner as of 2 PM PST. We have been emailing, talking, texting for a month or so and out of the blue her old flame is coming to town to take her to dinner for Valentines. Lucky me.

So I am free if anyone wants to join me. No plans yet, but Los Angeles is a big place and I am very innovative. Plus the weather is in the mid - 70's!!!

Aww! Seriously?? Wow, that is cold. Oh wait, that is the weather here...but that ladies behavior was not very nice. Sorry man.

I have when other people get near my work.

The monkeys around here decided that they knew what they were doing and just cost me about 3 hours worth of work. Yes, I have a backup, but the restore process is giving me grey hairs and an urge to smoke frequently.

Thanks for letting me vent.

Monkeys? Do you mean the IT staff? What happened?
